Range of Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 / Hour. Commensurate with Experience

Summary of Duties

This position installs and supports computer hardware, including power supplies, motherboards, cards, processors, fans, memory, network interface cards (NICs), and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives, and connects hardware to the network. This position also monitors DHCP scopes and ensures the availability of IP addresses to clients, monitors DNS and ensures that hostname mappings are accurate and functioning properly, monitors Active Directory and ensures that domain controllers are synchronized, monitors campus antivirus and endpoint security status using a centralized management console, ensures that all network nodes follow established naming conventions, ensures that all network nodes are receiving Windows Updates via a centralized update management system, verifies that campus backup operations are successful, and performs restores as needed for system recovery and disaster response.

Minimum Requirements

A working knowledge of network operating systems, specifically Windows Server Active Directory (2016 or newer) and Windows 10/11; PC hardware repair;
Microsoft Office; and Google Admin. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time required. CompTIA A+ certification preferred. Valid Illinois Driver's License with a good driving record.
