Foot and Ankle Specialists of Illinois (FASI) is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with 3+ years of hands‑on clinical experience in a fast‑paced healthcare setting.
This is an in‑office, patient‑facing role within a busy medical and surgical podiatry practice. We are looking for a confident Medical Assistant who is comfortable rooming patients, taking digital X‑rays, documenting in the EMR, and assisting physicians chairside.

- Deliver hands‑on chairside clinical patient care
- Take and process digital X‑rays
- Obtain medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Remove sutures and perform dressing changes
- Educate patients on treatment plans and durable medical equipment (DME)
- Scribe for physicians within the EMR
- Maintain exam rooms, instruments, and clinical equipment
- Support clinic workflow and patient flow management
- Participate in team huddles and process improvement discussions
- Complete a structured onboarding and training program designed to ensure success in the role
- Occasionally assist front desk staff when needed to support clinic operations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a busy healthcare or medical practice
- Minimum 3 years of EMR experience (Mod Med, eClinical
Works, Athena, Epic, or similar) - Comfortable using computers and medical software daily
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Prior podiatry or surgical practice experience
- Experience with digital X‑ray systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)

$20 – $25 per hour
Final compensation is based on experience, clinical skills, and overall fit within the team.
