General Sales Manager - Genesis

Job description:

Rosen Genesis of Algonquin is searching for a General Sales Manager.

• Previous experience as a GSM in an automotive dealership.
• F&I background experience preferred.
• A history of stability in employment ~ this WILL be verified.
• Ability to work with CRM and to hold sales management team accountable for hitting production objectives on a daily basis.
• A proven record in ability to recruit and train personnel.
• Ability to work with owner/operator to develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the dealership.
• Ability to review sales production with each person/team as well as to coach and improve their abilities on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to talk to customers/close deals on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to create a positive work environment in which people are both happy to go to work and motivated to achieve their own goals.
• A college degree is preferred but is not required.
• Well above average abilities in their ability to communicate, process information, work with others and think rationally in pressure situations.
• Experience and ability in managing inventories.
• Excellent understanding of used car operations.
