Role and DepartmentThe Alfred ICU is a university attached qua ternary referral centre, providing state service for heart and lung transplantation (including paediatric lung transplantation), artificial heart technology, ECMO, burns trauma and hyperbaric medicine. It also provides Victoria’s Adult Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Hyperextension Services. Internationally renowned, The Alfred ICU provides specialist career pathways and endless career opportunities.
Responsibilities- Be part of a collaborative, innovative and dedicated team.
- Work in a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit with a focus on evidence-based holistic patient care.
- Contribute to professional development and support programs for nursing staff.
- Post Graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing (ICU).
- ICU experience in an acute hospital (aligned with the AHPRA registration requirements).
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding patient-centred care.
- A commitment to continuing professional development to advance nursing practice.
