** We are seeking experienced
** Mechanical Wrenchers
** for our River Renew project in
** Alexandria, VA**.
** SUMMARY
* * Installation of mechanical piping and process equipment. Includes working within industrial facilities. Completing demolitions of existing facilities and process flows and installation of new mechanical systems process equipment.

Experience with mechanical pipe installation (including ductile, flange, pvc, etc.), couplings, valves, pumps, pressure testing, instrumentation installation.  

Experience with assembling, installing, layout of piping systems.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.  Align pipes in pipeline sections according to specifications.
2.  Flange Pipe make-up3.  Sweats Copper
4.  Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of pipes     and process equipment.
5.  Ensure pipes are fitted and aligned using grade rods and/or transit levels.
6.  Installation of interior PVC Piping, Thread Piping, in-line instrumentation
7.  Assists others with hands-on work, including but not limited to, concrete, pipe laying and excavation
8.  Works in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

Expected base hourly range for this position is:
$28.00 -$33.00

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Kokosing at the time of the posting.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.

This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
** EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
** Minimum six months related experience and/or training.
** LANGUAGE SKILLS
** Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
** MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
** Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
** REASONING ABILITY
** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one– or two–step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
