** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.

+ Carry a firearm and maintain proper certifications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may involve medical emergencies or disturbances.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

+ Assist with the enforcement of facility policies, including visitor management and/or access control procedures.

+ Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols for healthcare environments.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Provide proof of required hospital vaccinations.

+ Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
