At Wegmans, our cashiers ensure customers leave with a positive experience. In this role, you’ll provide proactive, exceptional customer service by assisting customers at both traditional checkout and self-checkout lanes. You will leave a lasting impression and help convert first-time shoppers into loyal Wegmans customers!

What will I do?

• Engage customers with friendly conversation, make eye contact, smile, offer assistance, and thank them for shopping at Wegmans.
• Efficiently and accurately scan items and process payments at the register.
• Properly bag items to ensure they arrive in the same condition they left the store.
• Manage traffic flow in self-checkout areas, direct customers to available lanes, ensure equipment is functional, and assist with troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
