Position Title: Food Quality Control Supervisor
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9am-5:30pm
Jones Networking is recruiting for a Food QC Supervisor to join a premium food manufacturing facility in Alexandria, VA. The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for organizing and coordinating all activities related to the implementation and maintenance of quality and food safety programs and standards. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies to maintain the highest standards of product quality and food safety.

Position Summary:
- Recommend, implement, and maintain quality policies and procedures to ensure production of high-quality products, processes, and services.
- Communicate quality and food safety programs and standards to Quality Control Technicians and plant personnel.
- Supervise, train, and support Quality Control Technicians in daily activities.
- Investigate non-conformities, implement corrective and preventive actions, and verify their effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to Operations, Maintenance, and Receiving teams on quality and food safety topics.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with the Quality team, Operations, and on-site USDA personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all USDA regulations, company standards, and customer-specific quality requirements.
Summary:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or a minimum of 3 years of equivalent experience in food manufacturing quality and safety.
- Experience in food safety, regulatory compliance, and/or quality control within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety principles, food processing, and sanitation practices in production facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations and GMP standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience interacting with USDA and FDA representatives preferred.
