Licensed Urgent Care Veterinary Technician
Pet Medic Urgent Care Vet Clinic is looking to add compassionate and skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to our team. At Pet Medic, you can help shape the exciting new world of veterinary urgent care. As part of our team, youll work with the latest technology, stay ahead using educational training, and partner with experienced doctors to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.
Licensed Veterinary Technician

Salary
: starting at $28/hr (based on experience)
Sign on Bonus
: up to $5,000
- Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
- Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
- Perform physical assessments and record observations
- Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions
- Assist the Veterinarian in procedures (be comfortable with blood draws; prepare patients for surgery; administer anesthesia; monitor patients during surgery and recovery; administer fluids)
- Comfortable taking radiographs, small animal restraint, triage, monitor anesthesia
- Obtain laboratory samples, process and interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)
- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Able to commit to evening shifts and one weekend day
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Diagnostics (Radiographs, ECG, Blood Pressure, Venipuncture)
- Placing IV Catheters
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) required
- Minimum 3 years' experience
