Pet Medic Urgent Care Vet Clinic is looking to add compassionate and skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to our team. Licensed Veterinary Technician

Salary
: starting at $28/hr (based on experience)

Sign on Bonus
: up to $5,000

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
• Perform physical assessments and record observations
• Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions
• Assist the Veterinarian in procedures (be comfortable with blood draws; prepare patients for surgery; administer anesthesia; monitor patients during surgery and recovery; administer fluids)
• Comfortable taking radiographs, small animal restraint, triage, monitor anesthesia
• Obtain laboratory samples, process and interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Able to commit to evening shifts and one weekend day
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Diagnostics (Radiographs, ECG, Blood Pressure, Venipuncture)
• Placing IV Catheters

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) required
• Minimum 3 years' experience
