Experience:

Minimum of 1 year equivalent experience/training in Interventional Radiology, Intensive Care, Emergency Department, or Progressive Cardiac Care is required.
License:
Licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse is required.

Certifications:

BLS Certification; ACLS Certification;
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Must-Have:
Proficiency with IVs and critical care experience.

Description:

Must respond within 30 minutes while on call.
Weekend and weekday coverage is required by on-call rotation.
All cases are completed in the lab.
The average number of cases per day is 4-6.
Common procedures include peripheral angioplasties, endovascular repairs, PICCs, paracentesis/thoracentesis, and embolizations.
Basic interventional radiology procedures will be performed; no neuro or cardiac procedures are included.
Candidates with previous experience in an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab will be considered.
