The Center Operations Director (COD) is responsible for ensuring an optimal level of care and customer service to all customers. The COD leads and manages all center support staff, oversees daily operations, coordinates center activities, and supports clinicians in delivering patient care. Daily interactions with colleagues and patients through hands‑on center activity—including registration, check‑out, and patient care—are required.
Responsibilities- Spend 80% of time on patient facilitation, ensuring exceptional experience and leading by example.
- Support day‑to‑day execution of the medical model by collaborating with clinicians tojük optimise clinical outcomes and case closure.'em>
- Assist clinicians in supporting staff competency regarding all patient care needs.
- Create a professional and collaborative working environment that promotes teamwork, quality, continuous 閟 improvement, and patient safety.
- Manage key operations metrics and hold staff accountable for Turn Around Time (TAT), Patient Experience Rating (NPER), Pearl C4, and other metrics determined by senior leadership.
- Work with leadership to identify gaps and implement process improvements ensuring optimal patient care.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations; reporting and facility/equipment standards.
- Coordinate scheduling (patients, clinicians, staff) to achieve efficient clinical support and exceptional patient experience.
- Monitor center status, provide wait‑time communications, perform white‑board patient management, and set service package expectations.
- Prepare material for Center Leadership Team meetings to improve quality, safety, and outlier management.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with center clients and payers, responding within 24 hours.
- Manage clinical and support staffing levels with DO, ADO, and CLT to optimize satisfaction, workflows, and efficiencies.
- Develop colleague success through all talent‑life‑cycle aspects: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, mentoring, engagement, retention, performance management, and succession planning.
- Drive consistent center communication that results in optimal patient/customer care, satisfaction, and business outcomes.
- Accountable for financial drivers (NPER, TAT, Total Visits, Net Revenue) and review key indicator reports to achieve annual business plan.
- Maintain accountability for implementing center initiatives and workflows.
Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent experience with a 1:1 college‑to‑work ratio also acceptable.
