Position Summary:

Join the compassionate team at Spring Hills Mount Vernon as a Wellness Nurse (LPN) in our Resident Care Department! In this pivotal role, you will deliver exceptional clinical care and support to our cherished residents, ensuring their comfort and well‑being. You will also have the opportunity to supervise other staff members while reporting directly to the Director of Resident Care.

• Administer medications safely and accurately, adhering to state and company guidelines.
• Provide health consultations, effectively communicating any changes in residents’ health to physicians and families.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring the safety and well‑being of our residents.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with departmental standards.
• Collaborate closely with all departments to continuously enhance resident care and experiences.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments as required, upholding confidentiality standards.

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Virginia.
• BLS and CPR certification required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Assisted living experience is preferred.
