Join Inova Health as a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Inova Internal Medicine Old Town. This full‑time day shift position (Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm) offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Work Location: Internal Medicine Old Town – 325 S Washington St, Alexandria, VA 22314

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintain and review patient medical records, notes, and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participate on unit teams, work groups, and/or committees.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Certification:
  Basic Life Support upon start.
• Licensure:
  Licensed Practical Nurse or eligible for licensing in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Licensed Practical Nurse upon start.
• Experience:
  
  None required.
• Education:
  
  Vocational/Technical Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ambulatory experience is preferred.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
