About the Role
The Vice President of Marketing & Strategy is a senior leader responsible for managing people, systems, and priorities to deliver effective, evidence-based geopolitical communications campaigns across international markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role ensures that teams operate with discipline, clarity, and accountability; that analytics meaningfully inform decision-making; and that creative campaign strategies are planned and executed in alignment with geopolitical realities.
This position balances organizational leadership, analytical rigor, and strategic creativity to support complex, high-stakes client engagements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Management (Primary Responsibility)
• Lead, manage, and develop cross-functional marketing and communications including building roadmaps for team growth and development.
• Oversee management of partner firms across multiple regions and time zones.
• Establish clear roles, workflows, and accountability structures to ensure consistent delivery across campaigns.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and manage budgets to align with strategic objectives.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, analytical discipline, and strategic thinking.
• Serve as a senior internal decision-maker, escalating risks and resolving operational challenges.
Analytics, Measurement & Performance Oversight
• Oversee marketing and communications analytics strategy.
• Optimize campaign performance reporting with data integration, narrative changes, sentiment analysis, and other client-determined key performance indicators. Ensure measurement supports management decisions.
• Review and validate analytical outputs, ensuring they are methodologically sound and decision-relevant.
• Develop multi-variate testing strategies for campaigns.
• Translate analytical findings into clear guidance for clients and internal leadership.
• Set expectations for data quality, reporting standards, and insight generation across markets.
• Assess current data needs for the firm and provide thoughtful proposals for new tools, onboarding, and integrate new tools. Mentor team for full utilization of the tools.
Strategic Planning & Creative Campaign Direction
• Lead the strategic planning of geopolitical and international communications campaigns.
