About the Opportunity

Rolling Suds is a profitable, growing exterior cleaning company serving high-value clients across Northern Virginia. After a strong 2025, we’re expanding into premium Maryland territories (Potomac, Bethesda, Chevy Chase) and need an experienced operator to manage and scale both markets.

This isn’t a corporate ops job managing a building full of people. This is a hands‑on, field service leadership role managing crews who go to customer sites daily - commercial properties, military bases, residential communities. You’ll build systems, train teams, ensure quality, handle logistics, and solve problems in real‑time.

The owner is primarily focused on sales and growth. You’ll run everything else.

What You’ll Own
  • Team Leadership – Hire, train, and manage ~20 field technicians across two states; build a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
  • Multi‑Location Operations – Coordinate scheduling, routing, and resource allocation between VA and MD markets
  • Quality & Safety Systems – Create and enforce SOPs for commercial and residential services; maintain regulatory compliance
  • Equipment & Fleet Management – Oversee maintenance, repairs, inventory for pressure washing equipment and vehicles
  • Customer Operations – Handle escalations, ensure job quality, manage key commercial accounts alongside sales team
  • Financial Performance – Control labor costs, improve job efficiency, protect gross margins while scaling operations
  • Growth Execution – Help scale operations across two states while maintaining profitability What Success Looks Like in Year 1
    • VA operation maintains strong performance with 70%+ gross margins
    • Maryland operation successfully launched and growing
    • Field crews operating efficiently with clear systems, minimal owner involvement
    • Demonstrable impact on operational efficiency and profitability
  • Compensation & Upside
    • Base Salary: $90,000–$95,000
    • Performance‑Based Phantom Equity – Earn 5‑10% of company net profits based on hitting growth and profitability targets
    • Potential total compensation well into six figures with strong performance

    • Field Service Operator – You’ve managed mobile crews who deliver services at customer locations (not warehouse/facility operations)

    • Systems Builder – You create SOPs, training programs, and processes that work without you hovering

    • People Leader – You genuinely enjoy coaching teams, managing performance, and handling the people side of operations

    • Calm Under Pressure – Equipment breaks, crews call out, customers complain – you handle it without drama

    • Business‑Minded – You understand P&L, margins, efficiency – you're not just a task manager

    • Growth‑Oriented – You're excited to scale something, not just maintain status quo
    Ideal Background
    • 5+ years managing field service operations (commercial cleaning, restoration, HVAC, facilities services, franchise operations)
    • Experience scaling service businesses or managing multi‑location operations
    • Direct P&L responsibility or GM‑level accountability
    • Strong people management skills with diverse, hourly workforce
    • Valid driver’s license; will travel between VA and MD locations
    • Military NCO or officer background with decentralized operations experience is a plus
