PositionSummary
ANSER is seeking a Senior Training Specialist Expert to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO) in developing and delivering cyber workforce training. In this role, you will provide technical guidance, create learning materials, and administer programs designed to enhance knowledge and skills across the workforce, managers, and HR practitioners.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Develop and update training modules to provide cyber workforce upskilling and professional development opportunities.
- Create video training and other multimedia products to increase program awareness across the Workforce Innovation Directorate.
- Design and deploy training materials explaining cyber occupational structures, employment, placement, and compensation to HR practitioners.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to enhance training content and delivery methods.
- Administer knowledge and skills enhancement programs, such as rotational programs, to support workforce development.
- Coordinate with program stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organizational goals and cyber workforce initiatives.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to materials and delivery approaches.
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., cybersecurity, information systems, human capital management, or similar)
- 10 years of professional experience in workforce training, learning and development, or related roles supporting federal, military, or defense organizations. Experience must include:
- Designing and delivering technical or cyber-focused training programs
- Developing instructional materials and multimedia content
- Supporting workforce skill development initiatives for employees and managers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience working at the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) level
- Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient in Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint development and administration
- Ability to manage competing priorities and workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects from conception to completion
- Highly motivated professional with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
