Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria is seeking a motivated Service Technician.

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service or repairs are needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Will work under the guidance of a group leader with work ranging from express maintenance to difficult diagnostic work from day one

• Willing to learn and develop skills through hands-on and computer lead training
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong automotive background a plus
• Willing to submit a drug screen & background check
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license
• Authorized to work in the United States
