We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Windows Systems Administrator/Integrator with 3–5 years of experience in enterprise IT environments. This role will focus on deploying and integrating Windows-based systems and applications, ensuring secure configurations and compliance with federal standards. Candidates should have strong Windows administration skills and familiarity with AWS environments, as well as experience working within structured, security-driven frameworks. Active Secret clearance is required.
This is a hybrid position with flexible onsite options at McLean, Falls Church, or Crystal City. Candidates should expect to work onsite approximately 2 days per week, with the ability to rotate between different locations on different days as needed.

Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
- 3–5 years of experience in Windows Server administration and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and secure configuration practices.
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs, NIST standards, and federal compliance requirements.
- Basic scripting skills (Power Shell preferred) for automation and configuration tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms in a hybrid or integrated setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure Windows-based systems and applications in accordance with security and architecture standards.
- Maintain and update GPOs to enforce compliance and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure DISA STIG compliance during deployments.
- Support patching cycles and vulnerability remediation using enterprise tools.
- Document deployment processes, configuration changes, and compliance artifacts for audits.
- Assist with POAM tracking and remediation efforts to maintain security posture.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and escalate complex issues as needed.
Skills and Proficiencies:
- Windows Server administration and integration.
- Active Directory and GPO management.
- Power Shell scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (DISA STIG, NIST).
- Familiarity with AWS environments and hybrid deployments.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
