Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Technician to join their team in Alexandria, VA and provide end‑user support. This position will require overnight travel from Sunday to Thursday. Onsite at client location during normal business hours with travel overnight. OT may be required. Requires a valid state driver’s license (Real ), clean MVR, and a reliable vehicle.

• Project focus on upgrading advanced commercial printers at retail locations
• Replace printer parts, paper feed, power supply, print head, toner drum, transfer belt, image unit as needed
• Perform complex upgrades and troubleshoot printers, servers, hard drives, and monitor systems
• Provide on‑site technical support to internal or external customers to resolve complex or escalated technology issues related to operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment
• Install and remove equipment and systems as required
• Manage day‑to‑day operation of applications and equipment and serve as a customer contact for technical and service‑related problems
• Ensure all democrática no page, autofit? schedule, transmission, online systems, and problems are resolved accurately and timely
• Serve as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution and change‑management processes
• Determine the most cost‑effective repair or resolution to minimize customer downtime

• Minimum 2–3+ years of field service experience, specifically in commercial printers
• Ability to travel extensively by plane and/or car
• Commercial/large printer experience;
  Lexmark printer certification is a plus
• Experience working on commercial printers with electronics/mechanical aptitude
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, databases, and network security concepts and tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook
• Experience with multi‑platform Windows OS
• Familiarity with Rufus, Windows Server imaging, photo printing, and troubleshooting system connectivity and interracial configuration
• Ability to work independently in a retail environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with key stakeholders, leadership, partners, and customers
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality

The rate for this position is between $18.76 and $27.50 per hour. Factors affecting starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
