cFocus Software seeks a Business Intelligence SME to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting business intelligence and reporting solutions.
- Strong experience with enterprise BI tools and reporting platforms.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience supporting data-driven decision-making in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data management best practices.
- Experience supporting DoD or federal IT systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation
- Serve as the lead BI subject matter expert supporting DSAID reporting and analytics requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Translate business and operational requirements into BI solutions and reporting architectures.
- Support sustainment, enhancement, and modernization of DSAID BI capabilities.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and data models to support reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.
- Support data governance, data lineage, and metadata management activities.
- Validate compliance with Privacy Act, data protection, and records management requirements.
- Collaborate with Database Administrators, Database Analysts, Systems Analysts, and Developers.
- Support Agile development activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Provide subject matter expertise for data validation, reconciliation, and audit readiness.
- Support RMF and cybersecurity requirements related to data access, reporting, and auditing.
- Develop and maintain BI technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Support user training, demonstrations, and stakeholder briefings.
- Assist with transition-in, knowledge transfer, and operational sustainment activities
