Technical Writer; CLEARED Security Clearance

Position: Technical Writer (CLEARED) with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Technical Writer (CLEARED) to join a DoD subcontractor supporting various government programs. This is a full-time position offering great remote flexibility, but needs someone relatively local to Alexandria, VA. Essential Duties of the Technical Writer (CLEARED):
* Documenting the architecture, design decisions, deployment procedures, and testing results.

* Ensure content is clear, accurate and aligns with Navy documentation standards

* Translate technical inputs into concise, actionable deliverables for stakeholders

* Support delivery of design artifacts and system overviews
Qualifications of the Technical Writer (CLEARED):
* 5+ years of Technical Writing experience
* Proven experience creating and editing user manuals, SOPs, system documentation, proposals or RFP responses and knowledge-based articles.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Compensation for the Technical Writer (CLEARED): * $65,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)

* Great remote flexibility - only occasional onsite meetings when required by government customer
