Overview
The Systems Support Specialist I (SS1) is responsible for providing basic help desk support for desktop workstations, laptops, and peripherals to both local and remote users. The SS1 will install, fix or repair all Windows platforms, systems, files, and directories. The Systems Support Specialist I will load baseline software, support user accounts and access configurations. The SS1 will travel to remote sites as needed to provide field based support.
The SS1 will use strong customer service skills to provide quick and efficient user support to Five Guys users and systems.
- Provides Remote User Support, traveling to remote sites as necessary to provide project support for new store openings, acquisitions, sales and closures
- Furnishes Level I & II Help Desk Support
- Administers, builds and maintains access control and site security
- Provides end user support for all systems
- Supports Telecommunications clients and users
- Identifies the need for and provides user training
- Handles administrative duties including correspondence and document management
- Codes invoice and submit for payment
- Provides Compliance reporting submission
- May be assigned other duties to support other IT team members or those in outside departments as directed by immediate supervisor.
The Systems Support Specialist requires relevant work experience with desktop and laptop hardware, printing and scanning hardware and basic networking.
Education/Experience- Degree in Computer Science or 2+ years relevant work experience
- Comptia A+ Certification Preferred
- MCTS Certification Preferred
