Key Responsibilities
  • Retirement Plan Administration

    • Manage day-to-day operations for 401k, 457b, 457f, and pension plans

    • Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and other regulatory requirements

    • Coordinate audits, annual testing, Form 5500 filings, and employee communications

    • Serve as liaison between vendors and internal teams

    • Maintain documentation and create employee education materials

  • Payroll Support

    • Assist in bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees

    • Handle payroll inputs, benefit deductions, tax compliance, and reporting

    • Resolve issues with tax agencies and vendors

    • Support payroll audits and adjustments

  • HR Ticketing Support

    • Triage HR system tickets and resolve retirement-related inquiries

    • Deliver high-quality service with a people-first approach

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration and payroll

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business Administration
    , or related field

  • One or more certifications preferred:
    CRPP, RICP, QPA, RMA, QKA, CPFA

  • Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS retirement rules
    , and payroll tax treatment

  • Familiarity with benefit deductions, payroll compliance
    , and reporting

  • Experience with
    HRIS systems (Dayforce a plus)

  • Experience with
    Principal Financial Services platform is a bonus

  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong communication skills

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
