Retirement Plan Administration
Manage day-to-day operations for 401k, 457b, 457f, and pension plans
Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and other regulatory requirements
Coordinate audits, annual testing, Form 5500 filings, and employee communications
Serve as liaison between vendors and internal teams
Maintain documentation and create employee education materials
Payroll Support
Assist in bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees
Handle payroll inputs, benefit deductions, tax compliance, and reporting
Resolve issues with tax agencies and vendors
Support payroll audits and adjustments
HR Ticketing Support
Triage HR system tickets and resolve retirement-related inquiries
Deliver high-quality service with a people-first approach
5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration and payroll
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business Administration
, or related fieldOne or more certifications preferred:
CRPP, RICP, QPA, RMA, QKA, CPFAStrong understanding of ERISA, IRS retirement rules
, and payroll tax treatmentFamiliarity with benefit deductions, payroll compliance
, and reportingExperience with
HRIS systems (Dayforce a plus)Experience with
Principal Financial Services platform is a bonusHigh attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong communication skills
