Assignment Overview

American Traveler is seeking a Sonographer with 1–2 years of OB/MFM experience for a high-risk antenatal testing assignment, requiring nuchal translucency scanning skills.
Details- Position based in an antenatal testing center specializing in high-risk pregnancy assessments
- Patient population includes high-risk pregnancies, twins, triplets, fetal anomalies, Level II screenings, and procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS
- Outpatient and inpatient caseload averaging 10–12 patients per day
- Team of 5–6 sonographers on staff
- Use of GE Viewpoint EMR system
- No weekends, holidays, or float required
- Day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Minimum 1–2 years of OB/MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) sonography experience
- Proficiency in scanning nuchal translucency is required
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- ARDMS certification in Obstetrics required
- NT certification preferred but not required
- License required if applicable
- Duties include performing first trimester screenings, Level II ultrasounds, and supporting procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS
- Three-day orientation provided
- Scrubs should be black
- No on-call, weekend, or holiday shifts
