• ✨ Clear roles & expectations — From the start, we prioritize clarity around scope of practice, documentation, communication, and responsibilities so you can focus on doing your work well.
• ✨ Consistent mentorship & collaboration — SLP‑As meet regularly with their supervising SLP to review therapy plans, reflect on sessions, problem‑solve challenges, and track professional growth. Support is proactive—not reactive.
• ✨ Hands‑on guidance, not micromanagement — Supervising SLPs balance oversight with trust, empowering SLP‑As to grow while always having access to guidance when needed.
• ✨ A growth‑centered experience — SLP‑A mentorship at Chatterboxes is designed to build clinical confidence, professional communication skills, and comfort navigating school, home, and community settings. You are supported as an essential part of the clinical team.

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech‑Language Pathology

• Associate’s degree from an accredited SLP‑A program
• Fully licensed or working toward licensure as an SLP‑A in Virginia
