Activities Assistant​/Bus Driver

Overview

Join our team at Alexandria Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as an Activity Assistant/Bus Driver. Supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services. Part‑time opportunity available. $15‑$22 an hour.

• Facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization and recreation for facility residents.

• Observing residents during events and assisting with coloring, crafts, and other needs.

• Reporting medical concerns to supervisors if needed.

• Crafting, coloring, decorating, playing games, etc.

• Prior recreation/activities experience in a nursing home with dementia experience preferred.

• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age‑related needs of the residents served.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Must have a clean driving record and be safety conscious.

• Must be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license.
