Clinical Assessor (BCBA)

ABA Centers of Virginia is changing how ABA therapy is delivered and making long wait lists a thing of the past. We are looking for a BCBA to join our team as a Clinical Assessor and put your skills to use with families and kids who need your help the most.

• Work with Admissions and clinicians to ensure that intakes are completed for prospective families/clients.
• Conduct initial assessments using standardized tools such as Vineland, ABAS-2, MBA, VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFLS, ABLLS, PEAK, Socially Savvy, MAS, QABF, FAST, etc.
• Ensure the appropriate transition of cases after the initial assessment, including overlap meetings with families and the receiving team.
• Provide a maximum of 3 initial assessments per week in home and clinical environments.
• Conduct peer reviews with insurance companies for authorization of hours.
• Train staff on conducting initial skills and adaptive assessments.

• BCBA certification.
• 3+ years of experience in the field supervising others.
• Must maintain a clean background/drug screening and driving record.
