Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high‑quality ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of sonography principles, medical imaging techniques, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.

Duties
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including cardiac and vascular.
  • Utilize appropriate sonographic techniques to obtain high‑quality images for interpretation by physicians.
  • Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound findings.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
  • Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and practices through continuous education.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sonography with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles.
  • Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to ultrasound examinations.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to diagnostic cardiac and vascular practices.
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high‑quality patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
