* Key Responsibilities:

* – Serve as the first scrub, demonstrating advanced knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
– Maintain an organized sterile field and collaborate with team members for optimal patient care.
– Act as a resource in specialty areas and mentor new staff.

** Requirements:*
* – High School diploma or equivalent.
– Minimum of 1 year of surgical tech experience.
– Certification as a Virginia Registered Surgical Technologist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
