Do you have experience in health policy or public administration, along with strong writing skills and a drive to make a difference? The Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) is the national organization helping members navigate regulations and innovations to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of medicines and healthcare products. We are seeking a Director of Policy to coordinate policy development on key issues impacting the healthcare distribution industry and HDA’s membership.
This is an excellent opportunity to influence policy and drive HDA advocacy and engagement!
- Work with HDA member company subject matter experts and internal staff to inform the distribution sector’s policy agenda on issues such as distribution logistics, supply chain resilience, emergency preparedness, reimbursement, importation of prescription medicines, prescription drug abuse and diversion, pharmaceutical traceability, taxes, healthcare affordability, and international trade.
- Provide policy strategy and coordination as the Director of Policy, reporting to the Chief Policy Officer.
- Required to be in the office three days a week.
- Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree in health policy, public administration, or research preferred.
- 3 years of related experience, including healthcare policy.
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and execution.
- Ability to carry out budget development and financial forecasting.
- Strong writing skills, including ability to proofread and edit.
- Understanding of the healthcare supply chain and/or supply chain distribution issues preferred.
Salary Range: $122,000 - $150,000
