Position: Supervisory Management Analyst (Program Manager) with Security Clearance
Duties Help Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:
* Serves as a senior subject matter expert and advisor to the Director, Privacy, Civil Liberties, and Transparency (PCLT) and the DA&M in support of executing the functions assigned to the DoW Regulatory Policy Officer.
* Manages the Department of War (DoW) Regulatory Program by establishing and maintaining its policies, procedures, and standards. Directs the drafting, issuance, and maintenance of all Do W regulatory policy issuances.
* Represents DoW leadership in high-level policy and legislative discussions, serving as the Department's key representative in inter­agency regulatory fora, advisory committees, and symposia.
* Ensures the legal sufficiency and overall effectiveness of the Department's regulatory program by conducting ongoing evaluations, reviewing judicial decisions, and assuring compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) and Office of the Federal Register (OFR) standards.
* Executes the full spectrum of supervisory personnel management over the Regulatory Division staff by directing work assignments, managing performance, and administering disciplinary actions. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
* The incumbent may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime.
* This position may require up to 10% occasional travel away from your normal duty station for official business on military or commercial aircraft. Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. https:// You may qualify at the GS-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability in:

- Performing program analysis, policy analysis, or evaluation work in a regulatory, compliance, or policy program management environment.

- Applying regulatory compliance, Federal rule making, OMB guidance implementation, or similar regulatory program role in an agency.

- Applying federal inter-agency coordination, policy development, or legislative liaison role. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualifications and education requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and clearly documented in your resume.
