As a Contract Grant and Compliance Specialist, you will coordinate with staff across all divisions of the Health Department to plan programs, manage grants, and ensure everything aligns with funding requirements. This role involves identifying funding opportunities, writing and submitting grant applications, and building systems that ensure long-term compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. You will also monitor performance, maintain documentation, and collaborate to ensure the department stays on track with grant obligations.

• Coordinate with staff across divisions to plan programs and manage grants.
• Ensure all activities align with funding requirements and compliance standards.
• Identify funding opportunities and write and submit grant applications.
• Build systems that ensure long-term compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Monitor performance and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate to keep the department on track with grant obligations.

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration or a related area; AND
• Two years of related experience in coordination of grant efforts including development, tracking and compliance.

• If operating a motor vehicle for the purpose of completing job duties, incumbent must possess a valid driver’s license.
