Our client, a financial services firm in the DC metro area, is currently seeking a Senior Trust Officer to join their team. The Trust Officer will administer fiduciary and investment accounts for wealthy individuals and participate in business development efforts.
Responsibilities- Administer fiduciary and investment accounts
- Accounts include trust under will, court order, or foundation accounts
- Provide liaison between portfolio management team and client
- Assist in the filing of fiduciary income tax returns
- File annual court accountings and respond to inquiries from the various Commissioners of Accounts
- Research and solve more complex account problems
- Assist in development of new business
- Bachelor's degree is required
- CTFA is preferred
- Over five years of experience in trust administration
- Investment and portfolio management knowledge
