The Supervisory Senior will join a team that provides services for our clients. You will use analytical and organizational skills, along with risk management and compliance expertise, to support financial management and reporting processes at a federal agency. You will ensure that all financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free.

• Organize, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data.
• Troubleshoot complex accounting and financial issues in the entity’s accounting system of record, identify root causes, and provide short- and long-term solutions.
• Assist in month- and year-end closing activities that support financial statement preparation, including analyzing the trial balance and general ledger, recommending entries, and monitoring for abnormal balances and anomalies.
• Apply accounting standards to financial transactions.
• Oversee and review work performed by other staff.
• Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with at least 24 hours in accounting coursework, plus the 150 hours required for CPA licensure eligibility.
• Minimum five years’ experience performing financial management services for federal entities (federal financial reporting and/or auditing) or equivalent public accounting experience.
• Experience applying regulations and standards for financial reporting.
• Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements or key line items.
• GTAS experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
• Effective communication with clients, peers, and management.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. federal security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Arlington, VA five days a week.
