Join our team! We are looking for an excited, inquisitive Patent Classifier to join our Patent Search and Innovation Intelligence Services Team! In this role, you will de t e r m ine a ppropria t e ap pl ic a t ion c la s sifi c a t ions in a cc ordance wi t h th e Coo pe ra t ive Pa ten t Class i fi c a ti on ( CPC) syst e m and United States Patent Classification System (USPC) th ro ug h t echnic al kno wl edge , r e s e ar c h, a n d a ut o m a te d tools.
About you - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor's in electrical engineering, electronics, or physics
Experience and/or significant course work in any of the following areas:
Circuits, electronics, electrical systems, power systems, semiconductors, optics, testing systems, digital signal processing, etc.
At least 6 months of work experience with research via work, internships or volunteering
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Applicants must have resided in the U.S. for the past two consecutive years.
It would be great if you also had...
Previous experience with intellectual property (highly desirable)
Experience with circuits, electronics, electrical system
Ability to work independently, without excessive supervision
The ability to use computer systems to perform research and classification operations
Ability to work independently to meet defined production and quality standards
