The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre‑K through eighth grade Parish School in Alexandria, VA, seeks a part‑time music teacher for grades K‑2 for the 2025‑2026 school year. The teacher will offer excellent instruction in elementary music skills, developing their artistic gifts and guiding them to a fuller appreciation of beauty. The teacher will nurture the sanctity of our students, forming them intellectually, spiritually, and morally within the Catholic tradition.

The music teacher will work closely with grade‑level teams and upper‑level music teachers. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to develop the gifts of all, and nurtures them to be saints, stewards, and scholars, always with an eye to their eternal destiny. Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s degree, be willing to work toward certification, and have strong elementary instructional experience.
