Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Oxon Hill, MD, for a Lead Infant Teacher. The Lead Infant Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, creating nurturing and stimulating environments, and fostering the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of infants. Daily tasks include observing and assessing individual developmental milestones, engaging with families to support infant learning plans, and maintaining clear and open communication with parents.

The role also involves collaboration with other educators to ensure curriculum alignment and quality care for all infants.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Early Childhood Development and Child Development principles
  • Proficiency in Curriculum Development tailored for infants and young children
  • Hands-on Teaching experience in early education settings
  • Exceptional Communication skills to engage with both children and parents
  • Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Minimum of an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Certification in Infant and Child CPR and First Aid is required
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Passion for fostering the holistic development of young children
