Summer Camp Teacher for STEM / Technology Camps

Join Black Rocket Productions as a Lead Instructor in our Summer programs.

We’re seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to lead engaging STEM and technology classes for children.

• Seasonal position (4–10 weeks) starting in June
• In‑room with kids ages 6–11 or 8–14
• Paid training provided
• No formal experience required
• Enjoy working with students and exploring technology

• Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and have reliable transportation
• Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
• Strong technology skills such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, video editing, digital arts, or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox
• Available to start online training in May prior to the start of summer (train at your own pace via our online portal)
• Authorized to work in the United States; work sponsorship not available
• Available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday
• Passion for working with kids

• 21 years of age or older
• College graduate with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields and/or significant relevant work experience are ideal. Graduating seniors with student teaching experience encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching kids is not required, but ideal candidates have some experience in formal or informal settings.
• Ability to lead a class of up to 12 kids solo and 25 kids with an assistant in a classroom setting
• Ability to manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed

• Rate: $20/hr – $26/hr depending on experience, location, and availability
• Potential opportunities to move into supervisory roles in future years
