This role is perfect for a creative communicator eager to shape the voice of a leading health science firm from federal agency located in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities- Create engaging speeches and presentations for executive leadership, including Congressional testimony (2 writing samples required).
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop key messages and communication strategies.
- Research and analyze industry trends to inform content development.
- Edit and refine written materials to ensure clarity and impact.
- Support internal and external communications initiatives.
- Assist in preparing briefing materials for high-stakes events.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership articles and blog posts.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in speech writing or executive communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of health science industry and trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for impactful communication.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
