Evans & Dixon is currently seeking to add a full-time File Clerk to assist our Worker's Compensation team in our Springfield, MO office. This is a demanding and fast paced position for an ambitious person. Candidates must be responsible, have the ability to multi‑task, possess the ability to organize and maintain files; have excellent technical, interpersonal, and client‑related skills; have a creative and diplomatic approach to problem solving and a keen sense of organization.
We are looking for self‑disciplined candidates with a strong work ethic.
Gain valuable and real‑world legal experience by working alongside attorneys during all phases of the litigation process, from the initiation of a case to the discovery period through trial and post‑trial findings and appeals. What you’ll do:- Developing and maintaining databases
- Labeling and updating paper files
- Organizing and utilizing our paper filing system
- Gathering and organizing files and documents for coworkers’ use
- Photocopying and sending faxes
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Ability to learn various software applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in‑office
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- A minimum of one year of experience in an administrative role
