Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Alexandria, VA, for a Home Health Care Administrative Assistant Coordinator. The role involves managing client records, coordinating patient care schedules, maintaining communication with health care providers and clients, and ensuring compliance with administrative regulations. This position also entails supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the office, including communication with client and caregivers, processing documentation, and assisting in the implementation of operational policies to deliver seamless care services.

Qualifications
  • Organizational and administrative skills, including record-keeping, file management, and multitasking
  • Scheduling and coordination skills, with the ability to manage calendars and organize care plans
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear communication with clients, staff, and providers
  • Proficiency in using office software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling applications
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive client and business information
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in healthcare administration or home health care is preferred
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations for home healthcare services is a plus
