We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join a prominent faith-based non-profit organization in Northern Virginia. Supporting a robust team of finance professionals—including the Accounting Manager and Controller—you will play a key role in ensuring the department’s operations run smoothly.

Schedule:
This position has a target start date of next week. This is an onsite, part-time opportunity in Alexandria, VA. Please only apply if you are available to work the following schedule:
- Tuesday – Thursday
- 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Salary: $20–$23 per hour.
Shift: First.
Work hours:
9 AM – 7 PM.
Education:
Bachelors.
- Document Management:
Manage signature requests via Docu Sign and handle document movement through the internal management system. - Data Entry & Filing:
High-volume data entry and maintenance of both electronic and physical paper files. - Mailing & Distribution:
Organize and facilitate the delivery of sensitive correspondence and general department mailings. - Office Administration:
Perform scanning, filing, and general administrative tasks to keep the finance department organized. - Inquiry Routing:
Act as a "member giving" gatekeeper—receiving information and ensuring it is routed to the correct team member. - Communication:
Respond to "light" inquiries and handle basic correspondence for the Finance team. - Team Support:
Provide general assistance to the Accounting Manager, Controllers, and the wider finance team (7+ people). - Assist with administrative and other tasks as needed
