Volitiion IIT Inc is an IT Service and Staffing firm based in Leesburg, VA. We have hiring top talents to add to our growing team of technology professionals. We are looking for a Sr Accountant - Asset Management to add to our team.
Location2401 Mill Road (Eisenhower Ave), Alexandria VA – Hybrid – 4 days onsite per week
Responsibilities- Resource to support the analysis associated with GASB 87, 94, and 96 pronouncements
- Resource must be strong and well-versed with accounting in accordance with GAAP and government accounting standards, and have associated experience
- Specific experience and/or exposure to working with GASB 87, 94, and 96 or GASB implementation and other GAAP pronouncements related to accounting for capital assets
- Experience with reviewing and interpreting contracts/lease agreements
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data; strong accounting and financial statement preparation experience
- Requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree. CPA, CGFM, CMA or CIA is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a Senior Accounting/Analyst/Auditor level related to engagements for financial institutions, real estate, public and/or private sector, Federal, State or Local government or other specialized area defined by a task order
