As an AC Transport Driver, the purpose of this position is the transport commodities such as hot oil, burner oil or tack from refineries to our asphalt hot mix plants. Previous experience hauling hazardous liquids is preferred.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Western Wisconsin and Southern Canada
  • Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites
  • Valid CDL, Class A with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement required
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Current DOT Medical card
  • Acceptable roadside inspection record
  • Must be able to meet all Federal Motor Carrier Regulation standards
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
  • Drive truck to transport hot oil, burner oil or tack to and from specified destinations
  • Perform daily inspection of truck
  • Operate vehicle using safe and courteous driving techniques
  • Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on vehicle
  • Obey all traffic regulations
  • Maintain vehicle logs, as required, according to State and Federal regulations
  • Monitor vehicle performance and report malfunctions
  • Prioritize safety at all times, following company and industry safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Perform other tasks as needed
