Overview

We are looking for an experienced senior sales executive to lead our growing sales team. This person will be very involved in daily operations and will provide excellent leadership to over 30 salespeople and support staff. Currently, this role is held by one of the founders, but we are implementing a succession plan. As part of this plan, you will eventually take full responsibility for the sales organization, with the founder acting as an advisor.

You will also become a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping to shape the company's strategic direction and regularly engaging with our private equity owners.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead the sales team to boost revenue and increase overall profitability. A primary responsibility is ensuring compliance with our sales process and developing product training and sales tools to provide an industry-leading customer experience.

Develop sales training tools to enhance the performance of the sales team.

Ensure the sales team consistently performs at a high level aligned with the company’s overall strategic goals. Lead sales hiring processes to support revenue growth plans. Active involvement in establishing individual and team KPIs and driving accountability to those metrics.

Provide essential market and competitive insights to the organization to inform our strategic planning.

Work with the Senior Leadership Team and marketing department to create effective sales tools, product training resources, and go-to-market strategies.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of extensive sales experience in construction equipment or skid loader industry is required
  • 5+ years of experience in executive sales leadership
    .
  • High proficiency in information systems/platforms such as Hub Spot
    , as well as Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of Net Suite and Global Shop is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and advance projects across different departments within the company.
