Overview
Working at Target means helping families discover the joy of everyday life. The General Merchandise (GM) and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for GM areas. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise setup and maintenance, pricing, and supports pick, pack, and ship fulfillment to guests.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming guest experience as you complete daily tasks and assist guests with their needs.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signage for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Execute price changes, merchandise setup, maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Understand how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking, packing, or delivering orders) while complying with applicable laws.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

Physical Requirements and Schedule
