Position: Nursing Assistant - Premium Weekend Days - Nelson Care Center
Schedule:
Premium Weekends - 32 hours/pay period - 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Saturday & Sunday - 3 out of 4 weekends per month & a higher holiday rotation - $28/hr!!!

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll provide hands-on support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Whether assisting with daily activities, monitoring health changes, or simply offering companionship, you'll be a trusted part of their care team and help create a home-like environment where residents can thrive.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will:

• Direct Client Care - Deliver compassionate, hands-on care, assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility per each resident's Plan of Care.
• Support Daily Living - Support daily well-being of residents by offering meals, hydration, companionship, and encouragement for social engagement.
• Monitor Health Changes - Monitor and report changes, including vital signs, skin conditions, and any behavioral or physical changes. Ensure timely communication with the nursing team.
• Create a Welcoming Place - Help residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their daily lives by creating a home-like atmosphere.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support. The duties and responsibilities

This job also requires:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Minnesota.
• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health is a plus.
• Ability to provide care with empathy, patience, and integrity.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and visitors.
