Nursing Assistant - Full Time Days - Nelson Care Center

Schedule:
Full Time – 80 hours/pay period – 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Includes every 4th weekend and holiday.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll provide hands‑on care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well‑being. We’re looking for a compassionate professional with a CNA certification, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for working with seniors.
Pay Range: $19.50/hr – $24.00/hr based on qualifications, experience, and location.

Responsibilities- Direct Client Care – Deliver compassionate, hands‑on care, assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility per each resident’s Plan of Care.
- Support Daily Living – Support daily well‑being of residents by offering meals, hydration, companionship, and encouragement for social engagement.
- Monitor Health Changes – Monitor and report changes, including vital signs, skin conditions, and any behavioral or physical changes. Ensure timely communication with the nursing team.
- Create a Welcoming Place – Help residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their daily lives by creating a home‑like atmosphere.
- Other Duties as Assigned – Ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support; the duties and responsibilities are to be performed as required.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Minnesota.
- Previous experience in long‑term care, assisted living, or home health is a plus.
- Ability to provide care with empathy, patience, and integrity.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to pass state mandated background check.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and visitors.
