Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM  Targeted Compensation Range:  $18 to $22/hour    Lakeland Manufacturing is looking for a
** Saw Operator

* Precision Cutting:
Set up and operate cold saws and band saws to cut steel, aluminum, and other materials to exact specifications.
* Quality Assurance:
Inspect raw materials and finished cuts using calipers, micrometers, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and excellence.
* Equipment Care:
Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning to keep machines running smoothly and safely.
* Safety First:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
* Material Handling:
Load/unload materials using forklifts or overhead cranes and route finished products efficiently.# ##

What You’ll Bring
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1+ years of experience operating band and cold saws
* Experience with remote-control overhead cranes
* Forklift experience (preferred)
* Strong tape measure and basic math skills
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
* Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
* Basic computer skills and solid communication abilities
