Pro Mach's Brenton division is seeking a qualified individual to join our Fabrication team. This role will focus on programming CNC machines, laser and waterjet to support production needs. The ideal candidate will also initiate and drive cost reduction strategies and recommend process improvements to ensure alignment with Brenton's quality standards. This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and is located in our Alexandria, MN facility.

Brenton , based in Alexandria, MN, is a leading manufacturer of case packers, palletizers, shrink-wrapping machines and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. Brenton is a division of Pro Mach, a leading provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for over 20,000 customers worldwide. Are you motivated about this work?

• Capable of all machinist responsibilities with little or no supervision.
• Set up and run open set-up mills and lathes. This includes turret lathe, tapping machines, end hole machines and saw.
• Ability to operate CNC equipment and able to edit CNC programs.
• Ability to program CNC machines.
• Initiate and drive cost reduction and fabrication process recommendations.
• Must be able to do high quality work consistently in an acceptable amount of time.
• Must have strong knowledge of proper application of tooling.
• Capable of reading and understanding blueprints.
• Capable of hand layout and drilling.
• Must be able to support Brenton's world-class checkout process.
• Ability to communicate with Engineering and offer suggestions regarding changes to machine blueprints.

Base Hourly Range: $2 4.00-$32.00
